Sweet French Toast (Gluten Free)

Most people think of bacon, eggs and sausages when you say French toast but I recently tried sweet French toast for the first time and I actually prefer it! Plus it only takes 5 minutes to make!

You can top the toast with whatever takes your fancy. I tend to opt for bananas, strawberries, cinnamon and maple syrup as they go perfectly together.

Method (two small slices of toast)

  1. Break one egg into a shallow bowl and mix in a teaspoon of cinnamon
  2. Place one slice of toast into the mixture and allow it to soak for 30 seconds before flipping it, leaving it to soak and repeating with the other slice
  3. In a frying pan heat up some oil (I use coconut oil or zero calorie spray) and place the soaked bread into the pan on a medium heat
  4. Fry the bread for approximately 2 minutes each side and then serve with your desired toppings!

(simply add another egg and some more cinnamon if you would like to make it for more)
